Through blockchain technology, Tron aims to democratize social media monetization with the launch of its new decentralized application TronChat.<\/p>\n<h2>Earn TRX from Your Interactions on TronChat<\/h2>\n<p>Decentralized application (dApp) TronChat is a next-generation social media platform that aims to democratize peer-to-peer interaction payments on the <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/tron\">Tron network<\/a>, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@tronchatdapp\/introducing-tronchat-f1612cd88fb1\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently under development, TronChat introduces new features such as direct updates, premium messages, private chatrooms and tipping to a social media platform that combines select features of &#8220;Instagram, Venmo and Telegram.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the blog post, released Aug. 22, the TronChat developer team explains their inspiration behind the dApp:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Social media was never built for you to make money. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and others were built for the sole purpose of generating profits for the platforms based on your user activity and personal data. TronChat was created to fix this paradigm, and allow users to make money from their everyday interactions with social media.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>TronChat enables all users to monetize each aspect of their page and posts via <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/trx\">TRX<\/a> transactions. Premium content is completely optional! This can be done on a per-post basis, and users can charge TRX for subscriptions to premium profiles. Followers can easily tip TRX on posts that they like. This offers creators a variety of new ways to earn actual money for their work.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>With hopes of being blockchain's first &#8220;killer app,&#8221; TronChat aims to fill a market opportunity for a social media platform that enables followers to support their favorite creators.<\/p>\n<p>TronChat is currently only 60 percent complete and continues to seek investor funding to launch full versions of the dApp online as well as on iOS and Android.<\/p>\n<p>TronChat has yet to release an official launch date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For those with influence, social media is not only a tool for online interaction but for also generating income.
