Over 40,000 people use Google every second – although this is an astonishing number, it is no revelation. But what was a revelation was when\u00a0Google's Co-Founder, Sergey Brin, expressed that he finds blockchain technology “mind-boggling” and “extraordinary”\u00a0a recent blockchain conference in Morocco.<\/p>\n
Sir Richard Branson hosted the fourth annual Blockchain Summit<\/a> in Marrakech, Morocco in early July\u00a02018 \u2013 which was by invite only. Sergey Brin was a member of a panel<\/a> at the conference and discussed the future of blockchain technology in our everyday lives.<\/p>\n At the beginning of the discussion, the panelists were asked to share their crypto origin story in 60 seconds or less. Brin shared that he and his son had been mining Ethereum with their gaming computer setup<\/a>:<\/p>\n “A year or two ago my son insisted that we needed to get a gaming\u00a0PC. I said ‘okay,\u00a0but if we get one we have to mine cryptocurrency.' So, I set up an Ethereum\u00a0miner and we started making a few pennies and dollars since then.
