In this case, an index is a group of cryptocurrencies that represents a specific segment of the market \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin\/\">Bitcoin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">Ethereum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin-cash\/\">Bitcoin Cash<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/litecoin\/\">Litecoin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Coinbase Index Fund is structured as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bitcoin<\/strong>: 62%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ethereum<\/strong>: 27%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bitcoin Cash<\/strong>: 7%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Litecoin<\/strong>: 4%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Importantly, the Coinbase Index Fund is also one of the only fully regulatory compliant crypto index funds available in the market.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2018 Coinbase filed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.disclosurequest.com\/form\/coinbase-index-fund-lp\/0001735709-18-000001\">Form D 506c<\/a> with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
