The GENIUS Act<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/congress-moves-forward-on-digital-asset-regulations-with-genius-clarity-acts\/\">cleared the House<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on July 17. It was<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/trump-signs-genius-act-into-law-activating-americas-first-regulatory-framework-for-stablecoins\/\">signed into law on July 18<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, establishing the first federal framework for dollar-backed stablecoins and signaling regulatory support for \u201cfaster, cheaper\u201d payments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The House also passed the CLARITY Act the same day, sending it to the Senate.
