Spot Ethereum (ETH<\/a>) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) notched a 14-session streak of net inflows as of June 5, fueled by investment advisors and hedge fund managers.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Bloomberg<\/span> data shared<\/a><\/strong> by ETF Store CEO Nate Geraci, Ethereum ETFs since May 20 added roughly $812 million. This movement resulted in total net inflows of over $3 billion for the first time, according to Farside Investors'<\/span> data<\/a><\/strong>, on May 30.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accelerating demand<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The uninterrupted inflows began with the session on May 16, when ETH\u2019s price got stuck between $2,650 and $2,500.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, May 22 marked the inflow record during the period, with $110.5 million added to spot Ethereum ETFs. This was the most significant single-day inflow since Feb. 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

BlackRock\u2019s<\/a> iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA<\/a>) remains the flow leader with nearly $576 million in inflows, taking in 71% of the two-week total. Additionally, ETHA is the absolute leader in cumulative net flows, surpassing $4.8 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fidelity\u2019s<\/a> Wise Origin Ether Fund (FETH<\/a>) followed with roughly $123 million in the past 14 days. FETH is the second-largest Ethereum ETF by inflows, but its cumulative $1.5 billion in net flows pales in comparison to ETHA.<\/span><\/p>\n

The smallest Ethereum ETF by cumulative inflows is 21shares\u2019<\/a> CETH<\/a>, which has accumulated $19.5 million since its launch on July 23, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interestingly, despite Grayscale\u2019s<\/a> ETHE<\/a> registering nearly negative $4.3 billion in cumulative net flows, the issuer\u2019s Ethereum Mini Trust<\/a> captured $688 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Institutional interest surpass $1B<\/h2>\n

Furthermore, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart<\/a> shared data on<\/span> June 4 highlighting<\/a><\/strong> that investment advisers account for the largest share of declared spot Ethereum ETF exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n

These entities collectively hold approximately $582.4 million worth of shares based on 13-F filings for the first quarter.\u00a0<\/span>Hedge fund managers follow with roughly $244.7 million invested, while brokerages declared a $159.3 million exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, private equity firms reported a combined exposure of $39.8 million, while holding companies and trusts reported $17.2 million and $11.4 million, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

P<\/span>ension funds, banks, and family offices<\/a>\/trusts contributed with smaller allocations of $7 million, $5.7 million, and $1.16 million, respectively.\u00a0<\/span>Across all categories, reported positions surpass $1 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
