The offering was originally sized at 24 million shares with a range of $24 to $26. Final allocations are expected to favor long-term holders.<\/p>\n<p>Circle is the issuer behind <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/usd-coin\/\">USDC<\/a>, the second-largest stablecoin in circulation, which held roughly 29% of the stablecoin market as of March.<\/p>\n<p>The IPO arrives as US lawmakers debate stablecoin legislation that could bring regulatory clarity and mainstream legitimacy to digital dollar-pegged tokens.<\/p>\n<p>The stablecoin issuer's offering has drawn interest from major financial firms. <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/ark-invest\/\">Ark Invest<\/a> is looking to buy up to $150 million worth of shares in the IPO, while <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/blackrock\/\">BlackRock<\/a> is expected to <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/blackrock-reportedly-plans-to-acquire-a-10-stake-in-circles-upcoming-ipo\/\">acquire about 10%<\/a> of the total offered shares.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/jpmorgan\/\">JPMorgan<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/citigroup\/\">Citigroup<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/goldman-sachs\/\">Goldman Sachs<\/a> are leading the underwriting for the offering.
