It marks a significant step in the stablecoin issuer's plan to offer compliant financial services across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).<\/p>\n<p>Circle stated that the approval strengthens its position as a trusted player in the expanding world of regulated digital finance.<\/p>\n<p>The firm continued that the move would allow it to expand the reach of USDC, the second-largest US dollar-pegged stablecoin by market capitalization, throughout the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>According to the firm, this would significantly <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/insights\/usdc-supply-surpasses-50-billion-as-users-increasingly-prefer-solana-blockchain\/\">boost USDC's adoption<\/a> in a region increasingly turning toward digital assets and adequately compete against <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/tether\/\">Tether's USDT<\/a>, the largest stablecoin by market cap.<\/p>\n<p>Circle's CEO, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/jeremy-allaire\/\">Jeremy Allaire<\/a>, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;[This creates] new pathways for investment and innovation in the region. It also underscores Circle\u2019s enduring commitment to global stablecoin oversight\u2014strengthening trust, compliance, and adoption worldwide, while laying a resilient foundation for the internet financial system.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Collaboration with Hub71 to boost innovation<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"2056\">Beyond its regulatory success, Circle has partnered with Hub71, Abu Dhabi's leading global tech ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"2056\">This partnership is focused on promoting digital asset innovation and strengthening the region's fintech infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2329\">Circle will work with Hub71 to tap into <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coinbase-taps-chainlink-to-boost-institutional-crypto-adoption-in-abu-dhabi\/\">ADGM's digital regulatory sandbox<\/a>, a framework designed to test and support new financial technologies. The collaboration will give fintech founders access to grants, funding networks, and opportunities to scale their businesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2507\">Additionally, Circle will become part of Hub71's Digital Assets Specialist ecosystem.
