The introduction of the fund marks Hashdex\u2019s ninth ETF launch on the Brazilian exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The asset manager might use direct or indirect holdings, futures contracts aimed at replicating the index\u2019s performance, or other financial instruments that reflect the price of XRP as defined by Nasdaq\u2019s benchmark to give exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The launch expands Hashdex\u2019s single-asset ETF offerings on B3, which also include products based on Bitcoin (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin\/\">BTC<\/a>), Ethereum (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">ETH<\/a>), and Solana (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/solana\/\">SOL<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Hashdex's chief investment officer, Samir Kerbage, the fund aims to attract sophisticated investors, including institutions looking to build crypto portfolios on Brazil\u2019s equity market infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He added that the ETF aims to expand investor access while aligning with regulatory guidance on fund safety and transparency.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>An $8 billion market<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">XRP-related exchange-traded products (ETPs) registered<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/xrp-attracts-investors-with-37-7-million-weekly-inflow-amid-tepid-market\/\">$950 million in assets under management<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (AUM) as of April 18, as <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/coinshares\/\">CoinShares<\/a> reported.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, XRP funds registered the strongest weekly inflows among other crypto-related ETPs last week, with $37.7 million allocated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a January prediction by JPMorgan, these products could<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/jpmorgan-believes-solana-xrp-etps-could-attract-15-billion-in-net-inflows\/\">attract up to $8 billion in net flows<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, over eight times their current AUM size.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Hashdex secured a head start in conquering this market, Brazil represents only 0.9% of the global AUM of crypto ETPs.
