The firm always maintained that its practices respected regulatory boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The inquiry's closure comes amid broad change within the SEC, now under <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/sec-chair-gary-gensler-to-step-down-on-jan-20\/\">new leadership<\/a> and policy direction.
