The brand\u2019s primary color has been changed to orange, also a nod to Bitcoin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strategy executive chairman <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/michael-saylor\/\">Michael Saylor<\/a> said the move was a simplification of the brand to more clearly align with the company's core mission. He added:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, \u2018Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.\u2019 After 35 years, our new brand perfectly represents our pursuit of perfection.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phong Le, president and CEO of Strategy, emphasized the company's role in advancing Bitcoin and artificial intelligence. He stated that the new name highlights the firm's global appeal and the value it brings to shareholders, customers, partners, and employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Strategy MSTR shares are already seen by investors as a proxy for Bitcoin exposure, and this relation was responsible for propelling the stock price by 422% last year, reaching a new all-time high at $421.88 nearly 25 years after the &#8220;dotcom bubble.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bitcoin push<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Jan. 27, Strategy<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/microstrategy-to-raise-funds-for-bitcoin-with-new-perpetual-preferred-strk-stock-offering\/\">announced<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> an additional fundraising to expand its Bitcoin holdings through a public offering of Strike Preferred Stock (STRK).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting Mar. 31, 2025, each STRK share will carry a $100 liquidation preference, accruing fixed-rate dividends. The payments, made in cash, Class A common stock, or a combination of both, occur quarterly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company aims to issue 2.5 million shares of STRK, subject to regulatory approval and prevailing market conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Jan. 31, Strategy secured over $563 million to invest in Bitcoin through STRK offerings.
