The SDK will be built on Bare, the JavaScript runtime from Holepunch, and will support open-source development.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative follows Tether's announcement in early 2024 about its <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/tether-launches-ai-arm-data-aimed-at-building-open-source-lmms-via\/\">expansion into AI<\/a>. The company had outlined its vision for open-source, multimodal AI models for real-world use cases. This reinforced its position as the largest stablecoin on the market despite ongoing regulatory challenges.<\/p>\n<p>European compliance pressures have led to <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/crypto-com-to-delist-usdt-and-other-tokens-to-comply-with-mica\/\">USDT's delisting<\/a> from three major exchanges, including <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/coinbase\/\">Coinbase<\/a>, Kraken, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/crypto-com\/\">Crypto.com.<\/a> These platforms attributed their decisions to efforts to comply with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which is still in its early implementation phase.<\/p>\n<p>Tether has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/tether-answers-to-mica-compliance-hurdles-with-hadron-and-quantoz\/\">criticized<\/a> the rapid enforcement of these measures, arguing that such actions could disrupt market stability and introduce unintended risks for consumers.
