The fund trades under the ticker MNRS on the New York Stock Exchange Arca.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin miners ETF<\/h2>\n<p>This ETF exposes investors to firms operating within the Bitcoin mining ecosystem. It specifically invests in companies listed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indxx.com\/indices\/thematic\/indxx-bitcoin-miners-index\">Indxx Bitcoin Miners Index<\/a>, a proprietary benchmark that tracks global mining firms generating most of their revenue from Bitcoin-related activities, including mining hardware, software, and services.<\/p>\n<p>The fund's composition includes leading Bitcoin miners, with <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/marathon-digital\/\">Marathon Digital<\/a> holding the largest allocation at 16.66%, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/riot-platforms\/\">Riot Platforms<\/a> at 11.92% and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/core-scientific\/\">Core Scientific<\/a> at 9.2%.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable allocations include <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/cleanspark\/\">CleanSpark<\/a> (4.79%), <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/iris-energy\/\">Iris Energy<\/a> (4.37%), and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/hut-8\/\">Hut 8<\/a> (4.2%). Companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/northern-data\/\">Northern Data,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/cipher-mining\/\">Cipher Mining<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/insights\/data-centers-emerge-as-groundbreaking-asset-class\/\">Applied Digital<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/terawulf\/\">Terawulf<\/a> have smaller weightings, ranging between 3.59% and 4.17%.<\/p>\n<p>Grayscale said that the ETF highlights the critical role of Bitcoin mining in supporting the broader crypto network.<\/p>\n<p>The company noted that miners are essential to Bitcoin's transparency and long-term security. As a result, the ETF presents an alternative for investors who want indirect exposure to the top crypto without directly holding the asset, allowing them to benefit from the impact of price movements on publicly traded mining companies.<\/p>\n<p>David LaValle, Grayscale's Global Head of ETFs, described the fund as a passively managed, rules-based ETF that evolves with the industry. He noted that Bitcoin miners remain the network's backbone and are positioned for significant growth as adoption increases.<\/p>\n<h2>US Bitcoin mining vision<\/h2>\n<p>Grayscale's new product launch follows a growing political interest in Bitcoin mining. <span style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">During his campaign, US President\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0advocated for increased domestic Bitcoin mining efforts<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, his team engaged with large US miners\u2014including Marathon Digital, Riot Platforms, and Core Scientific\u2014to explore ways to boost domestic mining operations, enhance energy security, and create jobs.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/microstrategy\/\">MicroStrategy's<\/a>\u00a0CEO\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/michael-saylor\/\">Michael Saylor<\/a> and executives from Marathon Digital held <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/michael-saylor-mara-execs-meet-with-trump-team-aligning-with-possible-bitcoin-reserve\/\">discussions<\/a> with representatives from Trump's administration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grayscale has introduced a new crypto-related investment product focused on the Bitcoin\u00a0mining sector, according to a Jan. 30 statement shared with CryptoSlate.
