According to <a href=\"https:\/\/platform.arkhamintelligence.com\/explorer\/entity\/terraform-labs\">Arkham Intelligence<\/a>, the wallet holdings mainly include <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/convex-finance\/\">Convex Finance's CVX<\/a> token, worth $986,000, and the Governance OHM (GOHM) token, valued at $790,000.<\/p>\n<h2>Terraform Labs' winding down<\/h2>\n<p>On Aug. 27, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/terraform-labs-filed-for-bankruptcy-to-protect-against-potential-sec-money-judgment\/\">bankrupt Terraform Labs<\/a> announced its <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terra_money\/status\/1828317326653169968\">plan<\/a> to initiate Proposal 4818, marking the final chain upgrade for the Terra blockchain. This upgrade will implement crucial changes as the firm prepares to end its operations and support the blockchain network.<\/p>\n<p>According to the firm:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;As TFL begins winding down its operations, Proposal 4818 will be the final chain upgrade that we implement. Pursuant to TFL\u2019s settlement with the SEC and implementation of its proposed chapter 11 plan, TFL will no longer have the ability to support future chain upgrades.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Going forward, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/cryptos\/terra-ecosystem\/\">Terra blockchain'<\/a>s future will hinge on <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/terra-community-to-own-chain-after-tfl-wind-down-coinbase-exec-slams-sec-settlement\/\">community-led initiatives<\/a>, such as the Phoenix Directive.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the transition from Terraform Labs to community management could significantly affect the Terra ecosystem because the blockchain network has struggled to reach previous heights following the shock collapse of its <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/terrausd\/\">UST algorithmic stablecoin<\/a> in 2022. Since then, Terra has become <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/terra-resumes-operations-after-5m-security-breach-triggers-astroport-token-plunge\/\">almost a ghost chain,<\/a> with several projects on the platform struggling for liquidity.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Terraform Labs is also selling other assets, including platforms like Pulsar Finance and Station, to meet financial obligations related to its settlement with the US regulator.<\/p>\n<p>Terraform Labs <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/terraform-labs-do-kwon-reach-tentative-settlement-with-sec-to-end-civil-lawsuit\/\">agreed to a $4.5 billion settlement<\/a> with the SEC in May, including nearly $3.6 billion in disgorgement, a $420 million civil penalty, and about $467 million in prejudgment interest.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Terraform's co-founder and former CEO, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/do-kwon\/\">Do Kwon<\/a>, also agreed to pay $110 million in disgorgement, $14.3 million in prejudgment interest, and an $80 million civil penalty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On-chain data shows that a crypto wallet linked to the bankrupt Terraform Labs moved 1,075 BTC, valued at approximately $62.81 million, to a new address (bc1q5) on Sept. 2.
