In a move to promote crypto education within the world\u2019s 7th largest economy<\/a>, the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) is launching a Bitcoin<\/a> mining training program which will span across 30 cities.<\/p>\n

The program has been devised in conjunction with Dr. Tausif Malik \u2014 \u00a0a respected local social entrepreneur \u2014 and will aim to provide rural Indians with skill sets that will enable them to participate in bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining operations.<\/p>\n

In an attempt to generate self-employment opportunities for the youth, the DICCI issued a statement saying that this move will help transform Maharashtra<\/a> into the \u201cBitcoin capital of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Milind Kamble, Founder, and Chairman of DICCI\u00a0added<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cBlockchain is the future of digital technology and is taking the world by storm. Bitcoin\/cryptocurrency mining is a must for blockchain platforms to operate. Hence, we felt the need to offer the Bitcoin mining training program (BMTP) to our youth on a nationwide scale for self-employment.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Some of the cities where training centers will be opened include Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Osmanabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pondicherry, Cochin, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar.<\/p>\n

In addition to teaching students about cryptocurrency mining, the curriculum also incorporates other essential aspects that are needed to survive in today\u2019s cutthroat business market. For example, the program will train students in:<\/p>\n

  • Developing their presentation skills<\/li>\n
  • Forming cohesive business ideas<\/li>\n
  • Launching startups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
