However, the team did not disclose specific details about the incident or the amount stolen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We are not yet ready to make public comments on this matter, as we are working to eliminate all possible vulnerabilities, improve security, and investigate,&#8221; it added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>CryptoSlate<\/em> can confirm that the exchange website has been switched into maintenance mode and displays an error message as of press time.<\/p>\n<p>FixedFloat operates as a non-custodial exchange, facilitating automated crypto exchanges. Users can utilize the platform without registration or Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications. Additionally, FixedFloat supports the Bitcoin Lightning Network.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"s3\"><span class=\"s2\">Stolen funds worth $26 million<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On-chain <a href=\"https:\/\/etherscan.io\/address\/0x85c4ff99bf0ecb24e02921b0d4b5d336523fa085\">data<\/a> shows that the stolen funds from the platform were worth $26 million in digital assets, including 1,728 ETH, worth around $4.85 million, and 409 <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin\/\">BTC<\/a> valued at $21 million.<\/p>\n<p>The attacker has moved most of the stolen <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">ETH\u00a0<\/a> funds to the Ethereum crypto mixer eXch, according to blockchain security firm <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PeckShieldAlert\/status\/1759399281201733917?s=20\">PeckShield<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">The stolen 409 <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">BTC<\/span><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\"> were dispersed to multiple addresses by the attacker, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BeosinAlert\/status\/1759229411713528029\">Beosin Alert<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">On-chain investigators <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CryptoEvgen\/status\/1759263615180251301?s=20\">revealed<\/a> that part of the stolen fund, precisely 166.1 BTC, was sent to Samourai Wallet to use Coinjoin transactions to obfuscate the transaction trails.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"s3\">&#8220;CoinJoin transactions are a type of transaction where two or more people combine their funds into one transaction in such a way that after the transaction it is unclear who owns which coin,&#8221; Evgenii explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FixedFloat, a non-custodial crypto exchange, confirmed that its platform was hacked over the weekend.
