IOTA provides businesses with a scalable framework which converts technological resources into valuable assets that can then be traded on an open market.<\/p>\n<p>The technology which drives <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/introduction-iota-economy-things\/\">IOTA<\/a> is Tangle \u2014 a block-less distributed ledger that allows for value transfers to take place without any fees.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from this, Tangle also streamlines transaction settlements which then enables resource trading on-demand. For example, Match X, a German tech company,\u00a0 hinted at the use of IOTAs operational framework for creating their upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/LPWAN\">LPWAN<\/a> system.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, earlier this year, the IOTA Foundation signed an MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) with the City of Taipei.
