It stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You also need to complete a short assessment designed to confirm that you understand the risks associated with investing in crypto assets, which are considered high-risk investments by the FCA. The Appropriateness Assessment is essential for helping us ensure that you're equipped to make informed investment decisions.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, Coinbase is not the only crypto exchange testing its UK users as part of efforts to comply with local laws, as OKX <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/okx-will-test-uk-users-to-comply-with-fca-promotional-rules\/\">introduced<\/a> something similar recently.<\/p>\n<p>This move aligns with recent efforts of the U.K.'s regulatory effort to protect people within its jurisdictions from inherent risks attached to the emerging industry. Several crypto-related firms, including \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/binance-stops-accepting-uk-customers-effective-today\/\">Binance<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/bybit-to-leave-uk-ahead-of-upcoming-fca-regulations\/\">Bybit<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/nicehash-becomes-latest-crypto-firm-to-leave-u-k\/\">Nicehash<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/revolut-to-suspend-crypto-services-for-uk-businesses-amid-regulatory-overhaul\/\">Revolut<\/a>,\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/digital-currency-group-subsidiary-luno-to-pause-certain-uk-services-citing-forthcoming-regulations\/\">Luno<\/a> have been forced to abandon their services in the country due to their inability to comply with the laws.<\/p>\n<h2>Coinbase users lament<\/h2>\n<p>Coinbase users have encountered various <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bumbledumbledee\/status\/1742923058040709349?s=20\">challenges<\/a> and expressed dissatisfaction with the process on social media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Several X users have <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/S3anist\/status\/1742875454049079678?s=20\">highlighted<\/a> the difficulties in filling and submitting the form, citing its unavailability on the app and browser malfunctions.<\/p>\n<p>One user, in frustration, labeled the situation as inconvenient and contrasted it unfavorably with other exchanges. They wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;You are telling us to complete the UK FCA declarations, Task 1 & 2 but they are no where to be found on the app or logging in on a computer, what a joke!
