(Source: Tradingview)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Why Coinbase stock is rising<\/h2>\n<p>Over the past year, Coinbase has emerged as one of the biggest industry players following the collapse of several crypto firms.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange's strong reputation has played a huge role in its business as it has recently touted its strong compliance-first approach following the issues of rivals like Binance.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coinbase-champions-regulatory-compliance-amid-binance-woes-calls-for-clearer-u-s-regulations\/\">stated<\/a> this approach has been proven right, highlighting how the firm embraced &#8220;compliance to become a generational company&#8221; that can stand the test of time.<\/p>\n<p>Besides that, the company also plays an active role in several spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n<p>Several applicants, including \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/fidelity-investments\/\">Fidelity<\/a>, Invesco,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/wisdomtree\/\">WisdomTree<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/vaneck\/\">VanEck<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/ark-invest\/\">Ark 21 Shares<\/a>, have <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/ark-invest-updates-its-spot-bitcoin-etf-proposal-with-more-details-on-coinbase\/\">surveillance-sharing agreements (SSAs)<\/a> with the exchange.
