A unique prize NFT tied to Yuga Labs' Dookey Dash game has sold for $1.6 million, according to a tweet from the original holder on Feb. 27<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Twitch streamer Faze Mongrall said that he sold the item to billionaire metal recycling and crypto mining entrepreneur Adam Weitsman for 1,000 ETH ($1.6 million).<\/p>\n

Mongrall was awarded the key on Feb. 16 after achieving a high score in Dookey Dash. He initially aimed to sell the item for $3.7 million but did not receive any bids at that level.<\/p>\n

Among the higher bids was an offer of 690 ETH ($1.1 million<\/span>) from United Planets DAO on Feb. 25. Mongrall asked the group to double the bid but was turned down. Later, the social video site 9GAG placed a bid of 999 WETH ($1.6 million) on the asset.<\/p>\n

The NFT, properly called “#21915 – Sewer Pass,” is listed on OpenSea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Unlike many NFT games, which are based on chance, Dookey Dash is a skill-based game. The game is tied to Yuga Lab's Bored Ape Yacht Club<\/a> collection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
