Nostr-based social media application Damus<\/a>‘ user count surpassed 45,000 on its first day and continues to grow.<\/p>\n

All new accounts are created as followers of the Damus app's official page within the app. At the time of writing, the Damus page has a total of 45,454 followers.<\/p>\n

The app has been ready for release for the past few months, when it finally got approved<\/a> for launch by the Apple Store on Feb. 1.<\/p>\n

The Damus app team didn't release official information about the number of accounts. However, the app's official Twitter account shared that the app entered<\/a> the top 10 Social Networking charts on the Apple Store roughly 10 hours after its release.<\/p>\n
