Justin Trudeau<\/a> has called out the newly elected leader of Canada's Conservative Party for his pro-crypto views<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a series of tweets<\/a> on Sept. 13, the Prime Minister of Canada said that his party will continue to work with members of the Conservative Party but won't shy away from calling out “questionable, reckless economic ideas” they present.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve made every effort to work with all Parliamentarians over the years, and we\u2019ll continue to do so. But we\u2019ll also call out questionable, reckless economic ideas \u2013 because Canadians deserve responsible leadership.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Although Trudeau didn't specifically mention Pierre Poilievre<\/a> by name, he labeled several things Poilievre has been very vocal about as irresponsible leadership.<\/p>\n

Telling people they can opt out of inflation by investing in cryptocurrencies is not responsible leadership. Fighting against life-saving vaccines is not responsible leadership. Opposing the pandemic supports that saved jobs and helped families is not responsible leadership.<\/p>\n
