The first iteration of the incubation program which started in December worked with 31 projects building across payments, gaming, metaverse, and NFT projects.<\/p>\n<p>The startups that emerged from the program are: <a href=\"https:\/\/zoksh.com\/\">Zoksh<\/a> (no-code payment gateway); <a href=\"https:\/\/deefy.co\/\">Deefy<\/a> (NFT lending and borrowing protocol); <a href=\"https:\/\/airchains.io\/\">Airchains<\/a> (dApp toolkit); <a href=\"https:\/\/respct.club\/\">Respct.club<\/a> (web3 social gaming platform ); <a href=\"https:\/\/spheron.network\/\">Spheron<\/a> ( hosting platform); and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zippy.fit\/\">Zippy Fitness<\/a> (Metaverse fitness solution).<\/p>\n<p>The winning projects will share from the grant pool of $250,000 and will receive ecosystem and marketing support from Polygon and Lumos Labs.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon's senior VP of developer relations Dalip Tyagi said Polygon will do its best to support the startups as their work towards solving real-world problems.<\/p>\n<p>Tyagi added:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I believe that projects that emerge through programs like PolygonLEAP have a true potential to solve difficult real-world problems and become successful businesses of tomorrow. The top projects of this accelerator have promised a vision that can expand greatly.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Polygon welcoming new projects<\/h2>\n<p>Polygon CEO Rayn Watt had said earlier that the network was <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/polygons-q2-data-shows-significant-growth-in-the-ecosystem\/\">welcoming<\/a> new projects with open arms.<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of the Terra collapse, over <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Fwiz\/status\/1545555539299487745?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1545555539299487745%7Ctwgr%5E4a4345db38b59a3dc854881a392a3cbc42034d48%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcryptoslate.com%2Fpolygons-q2-data-shows-significant-growth-in-the-ecosystem%2F\">48 projects<\/a> migrated to the Polygon network to continue developing their projects.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/polygon-on-way-to-reaching-mass-adoption-with-major-partnerships\/\">welcomed<\/a> major brands like <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/stripe-begins-roll-out-of-crypto-payout-option-for-twitter-creators\/\">Stripe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/liverpool-football-clubs-foray-into-nfts-branded-a-disaster\/\">Liverpool Football Club<\/a> who moved to build their projects on the network.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon has witnessed a large influx of Gaming protocols to its ecosystem since launching its <a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/games\/polygon-studio-will-offer-100m-to-fund-gaming-nft-projects\/\">$100 million fund<\/a> for blockchain game developers.<\/p>\n<p>Aavegotchi launched its Gotchi Land on Polygon which has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/polygons-q2-data-shows-significant-growth-in-the-ecosystem\/\">attracted<\/a> over 102,000 new users to the network.<\/p>\n<p>Polygon recently <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/polygon-neowiz-join-forces-to-build-new-web3-gaming-platform-intella-x\/\">partnered<\/a> with Neowiz to launch the &#8220;Intella X&#8221; Web3 gaming platform.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Web3 accelerator program PolygonLEAP has announced 6 startups who emerged as winners from its incubation program and will share its grand prize of $250,000.
