Around $2 million USDT,\u00a0$3.8 million USDC, $1.2 million FRAX and $150,000 DAI have been returned.<\/p>\n<p>Other tokens that were returned include SUSHI, WETH, Ethereum (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">ETH<\/a>), and others.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomad team had urged the white hat hackers to refund the funds to a designated wallet.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nomad Bridge Funds Recovery Process<\/p>\n<p>Dear white hat hackers and ethical researcher friends who have been safeguarding ETH\/ERC-20 tokens,<\/p>\n<p>Please send the funds to the following wallet address on Ethereum: 0x94A84433101A10aEda762968f6995c574D1bF154 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/UF623JSZ8u\">pic.twitter.com\/UF623JSZ8u<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Nomad (\u292d\u26d3\ud83c\udfdb) (@nomadxyz_) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nomadxyz_\/status\/1554679735006859264?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 3, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>A statement from Nomad also revealed that the firm was &#8220;working with TRM Labs, a leading chain analysis\/intelligence firm and law enforcement to trace stolen funds, identify recipient wallets, and coordinate the return of funds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The crypto bridge protocol also revealed that it was working with custodial firm Anchorage Digital to &#8220;accept and safeguard&#8221; the retrieved funds.<\/p>\n<h2>Nomad refute claims of being warned about the attack<\/h2>\n<p>Nomad refuted claims that a Quantstamp\u2019s audit had warned it about the possibility of the hack.<\/p>\n<p>According to the team, the identified issue\u00a0in the audit was unrelated to the hack.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">4\/ Contrary to misinformation that has spread within the community, this issue was not disclosed as part of Quantstamp\u2019s audit of the Nomad contracts.
