But most of the breach reports came from Phantom and Slope users.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the exploit and the hackers' identity remain unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, four wallets have been identified to be holding all the stolen funds.<\/p>\n<p>The exploit has been draining Solana, other Solana-based tokens, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/usd-coin\/\">USDC<\/a>. Otter added that the exploit has also affected some Ethereum (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ethereum\/\">ETH<\/a>) users.<\/p>\n<h2>The cause of the attack is still unknown<\/h2>\n<p>The crypto community remains at a loss on the cause of this exploit.<\/p>\n<p>Solana Foundation's co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko posited that the exploit &#8220;seems like an iOS supply chain attack,&#8221; a view shared by some other community members.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Seems like an iOS supply chain attack.
