By making Tether available on multiple blockchains, more users will be able to store their funds in non-volatile, USD-pegged cryptocurrencies. It also makes it easier for users to engage in Decentralized Finance (<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/glossary\/defi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">DeFi<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWith the introduction of USD\u20ae, on and off ramps into the Tezos DeFi ecosystem are simplified and efficient.
