LFG <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LFG_org\/status\/1526126703046582272\">confirmed<\/a> that on May 7, it held the following reserves to support the UST peg to the dollar.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00b7 80,394 BTC<br \/>\n\u00b7 39,914 BNB<br \/>\n\u00b7 26,281,671 USDT<br \/>\n\u00b7 23,555,590 USDC<br \/>\n\u00b7 1,973,554 AVAX<br \/>\n\u00b7 697,344 UST<br \/>\n\u00b7 1,691,261 LUNA<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">LFG said it began executing swaps on-chain, converting\u00a0 Bitcoin to UST<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> in &#8220;large size & on short notice&#8221; on May 8. Roughly $50 million USDC and USDT were sold for UST, along with $1.5 billion in BTC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> 5,313 BTC worth roughly $160 million, which was not sold, has also been returned to its reserve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On May 10, LFG executed a swap after UST dropped 25% and:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Sold 33,206 $BTC for an aggregate 1,164,018,521 $UST.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It calculates to a Bitcoin price of $35,504. On May 10, Bitcoin was trading at $30,000, meaning LFG paid a 25% premium, which ties into the drop in UST price to $0.75. Furthermore, on May 12, LFG converted roughly $890 million UST into LUNA at an average price of $3.99 per coin.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">&#8220;On May 12, LFG swapped 883,525,674 <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24UST&src=cashtag_click\">$UST<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> to 221,021,746 <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24LUNA&src=cashtag_click\">$LUNA<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> & staked this across a range of validators to protect against a possible governance attack as the amount of <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24LUNA&src=cashtag_click\">$LUNA<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> continued to increase. All transactions described above have now been completed.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>LUNA is still tradable on several exchanges, including Binance. At today's price, the 221 million LUNA, which cost LFG over $882 million, is now worth $40,200. The current LFG reserves are outlined below. On May 7, the total value of their reserves was worth tens of billions of dollars. Today, the market value is roughly $300 million.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00b7\u00a0 313 $BTC<br \/>\n\u00b7 39,914 $BNB<br \/>\n\u00b7 1,973,554 $AVAX<br \/>\n\u00b7 1,847,079,725 $UST<br \/>\n\u00b7 222,713,007 $LUNA (of which 221,021,746 is currently staked with validators)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It has announced that these reserves will be distributed to UST holders as compensation with &#8220;smallest holders first.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yet, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/stablekwon\/status\/1523532474860539905\">again<\/a> it reveals their plan before executing, which has resulted in the markets selling off their current assets.
