Crypto investment products attracted large inflows in the Americas last week, versus minor outflows recorded in Europe, according to the latest <\/span>report<\/span><\/a> by institutional crypto fund manager CoinShares.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report which analyzes weekly flows into cryptocurrency funds suggests enduring investor interest despite the geopolitical unrest which spurred a sell-off in risk assets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bitcoin attracts $95 million, marks seven consecutive weeks of inflows<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to CoinShares, last week\u2019s investment inflows into crypto funds recorded an uptick compared to the previous three months\u2013totaling $127 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consistent with the previous week, inflows have been regionally one-sided. The report pointed out that the positive sentiment was \u201ccentered in North America,\u201d attracting $151 million from investors, while European crypto funds recorded miner outflows totaling $24 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

As per CoinShares\u2019 data, [cs_coin]BTC[\/cs_coin] investment products attracted $95 million and recorded the seventh consecutive week of inflows.<\/span><\/p>\n

These volumes represent the \u201clargest single weekly inflow since early December 2021,\u201d the report noted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ethereum records largest inflows in 13 weeks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, [cs_coin]ETH[\/cs_coin] investment products recorded inflows totaling $25 million in the week ended March 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

This was Ethereum\u2019s largest inflow volume in 13 weeks, \u201cand follows a run of mixed to negative sentiment since early December,\u201d the institutional crypto fund manager noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

That said, altcoin investment products flows were mixed last week. Zooming into individual asset funds revealed that [cs_coin]SOL[\/cs_coin], [cs_coin]DOT[\/cs_coin], and [cs_coin]BNB[\/cs_coin] all recorded outflows\u2013$1.7 million, $0.9 million, and $0.4 million respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, [cs_coin]ADA[\/cs_coin], [cs_coin]LTC[\/cs_coin], and [cs_coin]XRP[\/cs_coin] investment products attracted investors and saw inflows totalling $0.9 million, $0.4 million, and $0.4 million respectively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the report, multi-asset investment funds remained popular and continued to record inflows which totaled $8.6 million last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMulti-asset, on a relative basis, has seen the most inflows year-to-date, totaling $104 million, representing 3.6% of assets under management (AuM),\u201d CoinShares concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n
