In 2021, Redbull announced that Tezos would be its official blockchain partner. Later in the year, Tezos helped it build its first NFT fan experience platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aside from that, McLaren Racing also announced Tezos as its official technical partner in a deal that cut across its Formula 1, INDYCAR, and esports teams. The network also helped in the launch of McLarens NFT in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Premiership clubs and crypto partnerships<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Several English premier league clubs have successfully entered into various partnerships with crypto-related firms in recent times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/sportsnews\/article-10226533\/amp\/Premier-League-clubs-accused-exploiting-fans-17-20-clubs-agree-cryptocurrency-deals.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">report<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daily Mail<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, clubs in the league have been accused of monetizing their fan interaction, with as many as 17 of the clubs in the league signing a commercial deal with a crypto-related company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The prevalence of this growing partnership between these two industries forced authorities in the league to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/fears-over-crypto-firms-has-triggered-an-investigation-by-the-english-premier-league\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reveal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that they would be investigating links between clubs and crypto-companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/arsenal-fc-faces-regulatory-heat-in-uk-over-misleading-fan-token-promos\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that the UK advertising regulator banned Arsenal\u2019s promotion of its fan token for being \u201cirresponsible\u201d and \u201cmisleading.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Like Floki Inu, like Baby Doge<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In another sport-related partnership, $<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/baby-doge-coin\/\">BABYDOGE<\/a>, a meme token inspired by Doge and Shiba Inu, has announced that it is partnering with TSG Hoffenheim, a professional football club in the German Bundesliga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The club revealed that the partnership would see Baby Doge become an official partner of the club, and it would be working hand-in-hand to help develop the club's NFT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deal would also see the meme coin brand appear on the LED boards around the pitch at every home game of the club.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking on this partnership, Mike Watson, the Project Manager for Baby Doge, declared that the deal would help to expand the global presence of the meme coin. He added that the coin would continue to form strategic partnerships so that it can extend its reach in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CryptoSlate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> extensively reported moves made by a similar meme coin, Floki Inu, which <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/floki-inu-to-sponsor-top-italian-football-club-ssc-napoli\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">entered<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into a partnership with the famous Italian club Napoli SC, to have its logo appear on the club\u2019s shirt.
