Soon buyers of Samsung\u2019s new smart TVs will be able to browse, buy, and sell non-fungible tokens (NFTs) right from the comfort of their couches.<\/p>\n
According to an announcement<\/a> published by South Korean multinational corporation Samsung Electronics today, the company\u2019s new smart TV lineups\u2014MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame\u2014will have an integrated NFT platform from the get-go.<\/p>\n \u201cNFT Platform: This application features an intuitive, integrated platform for discovering, purchasing and trading digital artwork through MICRO LED, Neo QLED and The Frame,\u201d Samsung revealed.<\/p>\n So far, however, it is not entirely clear how this new platform will work and what (if any) NFT marketplaces\u2014OpenSea or Rarible, for example\u2014it will integrate.<\/p>\n Samsung\u2019s latest announcement comes amid the already ongoing push for adoption of NFTs made by some other mainstream companies.
