US District Judge Analisa Torres ruled on Monday that a group of individuals who own <\/span>XRP<\/span><\/a> can offer their “meaningful perspective” in the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) case against <\/span>Ripple<\/span><\/a>, despite <\/span>denying<\/span><\/a> their motion to intervene as defendants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The US <\/span>regulator<\/span><\/a> filed a <\/span>lawsuit<\/span><\/a> against the blockchain company in December last year, alleging a securities law violation.<\/span><\/p>\n

XRP holders as amici curiae\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

“We were all granted amicus status today,” John Deaton of the Deaton Law Firm, who represents the XRP holders, wrote on Twitter.<\/span><\/p>\n
