The Foundation said that it has been aware of the issue and that engineers have been deployed to resolve it.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Solana mainnet-beta is experiencing intermittent instability. This began approximately 45 minutes ago, and engineers are investigating the issue.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Solana Status (@SolanaStatus) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SolanaStatus\/status\/1437757547235131396?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 14, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Anatoly Yakovenko, the CEO of Solana Labs, also took to Twitter to call for network validators to join the project's Discord server and resolve the issue with the mainnet beta.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">hey <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/solana?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@solana<\/a> validators!  jump into <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q4DvhuuFeh\">https:\/\/t.co\/q4DvhuuFeh<\/a> its beta time<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Anatoly Yakovenko (@aeyakovenko) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/aeyakovenko\/status\/1437777596549410822?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 14, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">And while some noted that Solana's mainnet was still in its beta release and was bound to experience hiccups, they failed to assure the Solana community that the blockchain would be up and running soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Solana Foundation said that resource exhaustion in the network was what caused the denial of service on the blockchain. The foundation also noted that despite the fact engineers were working towards resolving the issue, network validators were preparing for a potential restart if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Resource exhaustion in the network is causing a denial of service, engineers are working towards a resolution.
