{"id":198803,"date":"2021-09-12T00:00:01","date_gmt":"2021-09-11T23:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/?p=198803"},"modified":"2021-09-12T12:34:26","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T11:34:26","slug":"psg-goes-deeper-into-crypto-signs-multiyear-sponsorship-deal-with-crypto-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/psg-goes-deeper-into-crypto-signs-multiyear-sponsorship-deal-with-crypto-com\/","title":{"rendered":"PSG goes deeper into crypto, signs multiyear sponsorship deal with Crypto.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In what is the latest in a series of moves indicating that the French side, Paris Saint-Germain's embracement of Crypto has reached a deeper level, the club has signed a multi-year agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/CS-CryptoComReferral\">Crypto.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>PSG and Crypto.com new partnership<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deal between PSG, a foremost European club, and Crypto.com, one of the world's fastest-growing crypto platforms, was announced by the club in a press statement on Friday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the statement, the deal has now made the crypto company the official partner of the club and it would be in charge of various things including the release of exclusive Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) on Crypto.com's native NFT platform: <a href=\"http:\/\/crypto.com\/nft\">Crypto.com\/NFT<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The statement also revealed that as part of the terms in the agreement, Crypto.com would, in an unprecedented move, pay a good part of the sponsorship fee using its native cryptocurrency token CRO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking on the development, PSG's Chief Partnerships Officer, Marc Armstrong, revealed that the club is delighted <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to welcome Crypto.com into <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">its family. He said:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We share the same passion for innovation and the same ambition to reach the very top.
