{"id":196195,"date":"2021-08-04T11:00:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-04T10:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/?p=196195"},"modified":"2021-08-05T07:33:09","modified_gmt":"2021-08-05T06:33:09","slug":"this-new-chainlink-link-custom-oracle-solution-is-bridging-cefi-and-defi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/this-new-chainlink-link-custom-oracle-solution-is-bridging-cefi-and-defi\/","title":{"rendered":"This new Chainlink (LINK) custom oracle solution is bridging CeFi and DeFi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decentralized real-world asset lending protocol <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/naos-finance\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NAOS Finance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> today announced it would integrate decentralized oracle network <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/chainlink\/\">Chainlink's<\/a> solution for financial assets in the primary and secondary markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to support NAOS in providing their users with tamper-proof data feeds, bringing more access to real-world financial data previously unavailable in the DeFi ecosystem,\u201d stated Daniel Kochis, Head of Partnerships at Chainlink Labs, in the regard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kevin Tseng, Founder of NAOS Finance, added, \u201cWe have a long list of corporate borrowers looking to break away from their geographic constraints for funding, and are eager to work with Chainlink and NAOS to gain global exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Chainlink is coming to NAOS<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The custom-built oracle solution will bring credit agency, bank, insurance, government, and telecom network data on-chain, enabling smart contracts to interact with non-crypto financial assets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NAOS lenders will have access to essential financial data such as cash flow\/balance, profit margin, and interest coverage on the underlying assets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, borrowers will be able to build credit profiles on NAOS and have access to global capital at rates that are optimized for the same risk and reward profile. The initiative allows NAOS to truly decentralize the existing banking and credit rating infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To illustrate, imagine a Bloomberg terminal for global SMEs that are isolated from the global economy and are only serviced by their regional banking partners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the Chainlink deployment, NAOS lenders access the same financial data that was previously only available to a handful of privileged financial institutions.
