Our project has suffered a flash loan attack from an outside exploiter,\u201d Pancake Bunny tweeted earlier today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">According to the platform\u2019s \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pancakebunny.medium.com\/hello-bunny-fam-a7bf0c7a07ba\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">post mortem<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d report, the attacker initially used PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange and yield farming platform similarly based on the BSC, to take out a big flash loan in Binance Coin (BNB).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The attacker then used these funds to manipulate prices in USDT\/BNB and BUNNY\/BNB trading pairs and ultimately bought \u201ca huge amount\u201d of BUNNY\u2014which he then \u201cdumped\u201d on the market, destroying the token\u2019s price in the process. After successfully completing his operation, the attacker then paid back his flash loans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a result, the price of BUNNY first quickly pumped from $150 to $240 and then dropped to nearly zero in a matter of just 30 minutes. At press time, the token has climbed back to around $46.50, still down about 70% on the day, according to crypto metrics platform <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/pancakebunny\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CoinMarketCap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">PancakeBunny <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BUNNY&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BUNNY<\/a> just got flash loan exploited. Token went from $140 to $240 then to $0. Huge blow, over $200M in assets gone.
