These are Stephen Graham, Jarrod M. Patten, Carl J. Rickertsen, and Leslie Rechan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, MicroStrategy clarified how the director fees in Bitcoin will be paid out. \u201cGoing forward, non-employee directors will receive all fees for their service on the Company\u2019s Board in Bitcoin instead of cash,\u201d the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microstrategy.com\/content\/dam\/website-assets\/collateral\/financial-documents\/financial-document-archive\/Form-8-K_04-11-2021.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">filing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> read.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It noted that the adoption of Bitcoin as a form of compensation for Board service came amidst MicroStrategy\u2019s \u201ccommitment to Bitcoin given its ability to serve as a store of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">value, supported by a robust and public open-source architecture, untethered to sovereign monetary policy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As such, the amount of fees payable to the non-employee directors would remain unchanged and will be nominally denominated in USD.
