For the uninitiated, oracles are third-party services that fetch data from \u201coutside\u201d a blockchain to within, as the latter can only store data but not automatically verify its accuracy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using oracles allows <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/coinfirm\/\">Coinfirm<\/a> to make compliance data and services available to dApps in a highly available and tamperproof manner.
