Average volumes on the exchange are now over $19 million per day\u2014representing true transactions and not <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/this-crypto-research-firms-new-metric-calculates-genuine-volume-to-tackle-wash-trading-on-bitcoin-and-other-digital-assets\/\">artificially pumped wash trading<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>AMPL surges after Geyser launch<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ampleforth (<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/ampleforth\/\">AMPL<\/a>) led Uniswap\u2019s trade volumes on June 8. The platform launched its \u201cGeyser\u201d yield product last month as per <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/defirate.com\/ampl-geyser-uniswap\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>DeFi Rate<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a release shared with CryptoSlate, deposits have crossed $5.8 million deposits in Geyser. The ETH\/AMPL pool is ranked first on Uniswap 2.0, while AMPL tokens are now in the top-20 DeFi list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Ampleforth\u2019s site, Geyser is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ampleforth.org\/dapps\/?utm_source=AmpleforthORGGeyserAnnounTweet&utm_medium=AmpleforthORGGeyserAnnounTweet&utm_campaign=AmpleforthORGGeyserAnnounTweet&utm_content=AmpleforthORG%20Geyser%20Announcement%20Tweet\">touted<\/a> as a smart faucet that incentivizes on-chain liquidity. Users receive AMPL for providing liquidity on Uniswap, with their pool share increasing in proportion with the amount of liquidity provided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The yield crossed over 103 percent APR as of the last week in June. The release noted over 25,000 AMPL are set to be distributed each month. Yesterday, AMPL\u2019s 24-hr trading volume spiked from $75k to $3.4 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other tokens have seen similar surges on Uniswap. Blockchain agnostic tool Chainlink comes sixth with an $800k trade volume, while Compound makes up a little more than $500,00.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interestingly, a so-called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/small-love-potion\">Small Love Potion<\/a>\u201d is above COMP in Uniswap activity.
