Data from Brave analytics website <a href=\"https:\/\/batgrowth.com\/\">BATGrowth<\/a> lists 293,699 verified publishers at time of press, and reveals the platform has been steadily acquiring content creators since January.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_115427\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-115427\" style=\"width: 656px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-115427 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Screen-Shot-2019-10-17-at-2.12.19-PM.png\" alt=\"Brave Browser Growth\" width=\"656\" height=\"420\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-115427\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/brave.com\/transparency\/\">Brave Transparency<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The number of Youtube publishers on Brave has increased 1000% increase since January, while Twitter content creators, who were not <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/brave-browser-testing-bat-tipping-twitter\/\">offered browser support until June<\/a>, have seen a spirited increase of 1,590% in just five months.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_115428\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-115428\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-115428 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Screen-Shot-2019-10-17-at-12.15.45-PM-1024x579.png\" alt=\"Brave Browser stats\" width=\"1024\" height=\"579\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-115428\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: www.batgrowth.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Brave launches Transparency initiative<\/h2>\n<p>As part of its aggressively user-centric model, Brave has launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/brave.com\/transparency\/\">page<\/a> showcasing the number of advertising campaigns, content creators, and &#8220;Brave-initiated BAT purchases,&#8221; in real-time.<\/p>\n<p>Brave has also initiated buybacks of BAT in order to distribute rewards to content consumers, who receive 70% of advertising revenue based on their consumption per the browser\u2019s engagement rewards program, Brave Rewards.<\/p>\n<p>Brands opting to advertise on Brave can purportedly pay in BAT or USD, the latter of which will be used to periodically buy back BAT tokens from the open market, with transactions being listed on the Brave \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/brave.com\/transparency\/\">Transparency<\/a>\u201d portal.<\/p>\n<p>Purchases made to date by the firm have been largely insignificant, with four transactions over three months totaling 288,167 BAT ($63,303).
