In response, the crypto community rallied against Wright, culminating in the CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/companies\/binance\/\">Binance<\/a> threatening to delist Wright's\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/bitcoin-sv\/\">Bitcoin SV<\/a> (BSV).<\/p>\n<h2>Craig Wright Filing Lawsuits Against Those Denying He\u2019s Satoshi<\/h2>\n<p>CoinGeek\u2014a media site controlled by Craig Wright\u2019s ally, <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/calvin-ayre\/\">Calvin Ayre<\/a> \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/coingeek.com\/craig-wright-targets-crypto-troll-hodlonaut-defamation\/\">reported<\/a> that attorneys for Wright had on Mar. 29th served legal papers to Twitter user @Hodlonaut for libel. Allegedly, the user was engaged in a \u201ctargeted campaign to harass and libel Wright with highly defamatory and abusive tweets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Purportedly, some of the offending tweets included statements claiming Wright was a \u201cvery sad and pathetic scammer. He is Satoshi Nakamoto. He produced the report Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System in October 2008, sent the first Bitcoin to Hal Finney in January 2009 and played an integral part in the development of Bitcoin.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ayre also broadcasted, on behalf of Craig Wright on Mar. 29th, those denying Wright\u2019s status as Satoshi Nakamoto will face legal consequences:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Craig has started filing lawsuit against those falsely denying he is Satoshi&#8230;.they can all have a day in court to try to prove their fake case but the judge will rule that Craig invented Bitcoin because he did and he can prove it. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/d2W44mU9Tl\">https:\/\/t.co\/d2W44mU9Tl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Calvin Ayre (@CalvinAyre) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CalvinAyre\/status\/1111710002258038785?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 29, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It appears the lawsuit against Hodlonaut could be the first of many, especially considering the sheer number of people and organizations which deny that Craig Wright is Satoshi. Those denying Wright's status as Bitcoin creator could face legal repercussions, as CoinGeek warns ominously.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c@Hodlonaut may have ceased its anti-Wright squawking but there are plenty of other social media sock puppets who were only too happy to join in on the Wright-bashing from the (presumed) safety of their anonymous Twitter handles. But these internet tough guys will have their own day in court soon enough.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Witch Hunt for Hodlonaut<\/h2>\n<p>Wright is now demanding that Hodlonaut tweet an apology and make a statement in open court acknowledging the \u201cfalsity of the allegations made against Wright.\u201d The issue, however, is Hodlonaut is an anonymous alias.<\/p>\n<p>That said, it appears that Wright and company are going to great lengths to identify the person behind the alias. Supposedly, the proliferation of look-alikes may confuse those trying to identify the real person behind the account.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-101573\" src=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/hodlonauts-unite.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"387\" height=\"503\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/hodlonauts-unite.png 387w, https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/hodlonauts-unite-231x300.png 231w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The hashtag #Hodlonaut also started trending on Crypto Twitter, often getting included in tweets speaking against Wright. The movement culminated in the CEO of Binance, <a href=\"\/people\/changpeng-zhao\/\">Changpeng Zhao<\/a> (CZ), threatening to delist Bitcoin SV should Wright continue:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Craig Wright is not Satoshi.<\/p>\n<p>Anymore of this sh!t, we delist! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hrnt3fDACq\">https:\/\/t.co\/hrnt3fDACq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; CZ \ud83d\udd36 BNB (@cz_binance) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cz_binance\/status\/1116563034476957699?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 12, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Renowned crypto venture capitalist <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/people\/anthony-pompliano\/\">Anthony Pompliano<\/a> echoed Zhao's statement, saying that\u00a0<em>every<\/em> exchange should delist Bitcoin SV in solidarity:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Every exchange should delist BSV simultaneously on May 1st in a sign of solidarity behind the only Bitcoin that ever mattered.<\/p>\n<p>This community is the responsibility of the people. They want to delist the original bitcoin BSV because they don&#39;t like to hear the truth about Craig inventing Bitcoin. Nonetheless, through CoinGeek and Calvin Ayre, Wright wants to remind \u201ccrypto trolls that their online comments, much like Bitcoin transactions, aren\u2019t 100% anonymous.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Updates: Crowdfunding for Hodlonaut and More Legal Notices<\/h2>\n<p>Wright has continued to serve legal notices to others who have allegedly libeled or defamed him.\u00a0One user, Peter McCormack received and posted the notices received from Wright's counsel:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">1\/ So I got my letter from Craig Wright and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CalvinAyre?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CalvinAyre<\/a>.
