The network's testnet will reportedly launch in the second half of May and will improve the Tron network's transaction capacity and overall scalability.<\/p>\n<h2>Sun Announces Sun Network\u2019s May Launch Date<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/tron\/\">Tron<\/a>, one of the most heavily <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/tron-founder-to-airdrop-20m-and-tesla-giveaway-to-celebrate-companys-success\/\">marketed<\/a> blockchain platforms in the world, has announced a new second-layer solution for its blockchain. The launch of the testnet is scheduled for May 30th and will focus on supporting sidechain smart contracts.<\/p>\n<h2>Tron's DApp Sidechain Expansion Project Offers Strong Decentralization and Low Cost<\/h2>\n<p>Once phase one of the DApp sidechain expansion project is complete, Tron plans on launching its\u00a0mainnet. In this phase, the company will integrate the cross-chain infrastructure, DApp sidechains and various other expansion products. The mainnet launch is expected to happen on Aug. 10th.<\/p>\n<p>The mainnet, in its original form, will be available in just over a month when phase three of the expansion is supposed to take place. On Sep. 15th, Tron will start working on optimizing the network.
