تم اكتشاف موقع الجدارية، الذي لم يُكشف عنه سابقًا، من قبل مستخدم تويتر @TZTaughtMe، الذي يدعي أنه كان أول شخص هناك، وانضم إليه لاحقًا صحفيان لم يكونا مشاركين في البحث عن الكنز.<\/p>

بدأ البحث رسمياً منذ البارحة، عندما قام بويار بتغريد عمله الفني ونشره على ريديت. في التعليقات على صفحته الرسمية على موقع ريديت، كشف أن الأشخاص الذين لا يستطيعون أن يكونوا جسديًا في باريس ما زال بإمكانهم حلّ جزء من اللغز من وراء شاشات الكمبيوتر الخاصة بهم.<\/p>

أحد الاختلافات المهمة بين الجدارية واللوحة التي استُلهمت منها هو حقيقة أن بويار قرر عدم كشف صدر المرأة التي ترمز إلى الحرية، بدلاً من ذلك رسمها مغطاة بقميص أبيض. دفع هذا العديدين إلى التكهن بأن هذا مكان إخفاء حلّ اللغز، ويمكن الوصول إلى المفتاح عن طريق إزالة بعض من طلاء اللوحة بالأسيتون أو المواد الكيميائية المماثلة. ومع ذلك، يأمل آخرون أنه لن تكون هناك حاجة لتخريب اللوحة لحلّ اللغز.<\/p>
