Wei Dai

Wei Dei is a research partner at 1kx, where he focuses on research and investment around crypto deep tech and infrastructure. Before joining 1kx, he was a research partner at Bain Capital Crypto and served as technical advisor to numerous crypto startups. Prior to his investment career, he has published over a dozen academic papers around cryptography and blockchains. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of California San Diego.
