Volt Inu Releases Alpha Version of NFT-Focused Battle Royale Game
Developers expect the game will be available on the game distribution service Steam in the coming weeks.

Crypto project Volt Inu has released the first version of its NFT-focused battle royale game, which can now be played on personal computers.
Battle royale is an online multiplayer video game genre that blends last-man-standing gameplay with the survival, exploration and scavenging elements of a survival game.
Such games are massive revenue generators for gaming studios. Popular battle royale game Fortnite is reported to have made over $9 billion in revenue for parent company Epic Games in the first two years after its release.

Volt Inu’s battle royale game is in "alpha" version 0.1.0. Alpha means players may encounter bugs while playing. Players can create the servers in the current version and compete against 25 others per server at the same time.
Developers told CoinDesk the game was made from scratch by gaming studio Forge21. They expect the game will be released on the popular game distribution service Steam in the coming weeks.
The game will feature the Volt Inu non-fungible-token collection Volted Dragons Sailors Club (VDSC), although specifics will be made public in the coming weeks. VDSC is a collection of 10,000 dragons and has a current floor price of 0.5 ether ($813) on NFT marketplace OpenSea.
