It’s Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, and this is Markets Daily from CoinDesk. I’m Noelle Acheson, CoinDesk collaborator and author of the Crypto is Macro Now newsletter on Substack.

Rather than the usual markets rundown today, I’m jumping in with a personal announcement.

As of today, I’m stepping back from hosting this show to focus on other projects. I want to spend some time going deeper into the bigger-picture shifts pushing the crypto and macro landscapes closer together. There’s so much going on at the moment, and it’s all so interesting as well as important.

Of course, the show will go on, and the Markets Daily will be back tomorrow with a new format. January will be a transition month - for the time being it will be hosted by Jenn Sanasie of the First Mover show, with guests and market insights each day. I’m sure you’ll find the changes refreshing, useful and enjoyable, so do please tune in. I sincerely hope you continue to follow the show going forward – the CoinDesk podcast team has some big plans in store.
