{"id":7108,"date":"2022-09-13T19:51:07","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T19:51:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02ab3983900024ec"},"modified":"2022-09-13T19:51:07","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T19:51:07","slug":"zebedee-slice-launch-browser-extension-to-pay-users-bitcoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/business\/zebedee-slice-launch-browser-extension-to-pay-users-bitcoin","title":{"rendered":"ZEBEDEE, Slice Launch Browser Extension To Pay Users In Bitcoin For Web Surfing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"bsf_rt_marker\"><\/div><ul>\n<li>ZEBEDEE partners with Slice to pay users in bitcoin for surfing the web.<\/li>\n<li>Slice is an advertisement startup company that built an extension which awards points for watching ads. <\/li>\n<li>The points can be redeemed for bitcoin through ZEBEDEE\u2019s app. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bitcoin-gaming company <a href=\"https:\/\/zeb.gg\/app-pr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ZEBEDEE<\/a> has partnered with <a href=\"https:\/\/addslice.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slice<\/a>, an advertisement technology startup, to pay users in bitcoin when they search the web, per a press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine. <\/p>\n<p>Slice has developed a browser extension which can be plugged into Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge or Brave and the extension will provide rewards as the user earns redeemable points, or <em>slices<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, people surfing the web are right to have high standards for receiving value in exchange for their attention, and to claim that value in the form of real money, delivered to them instantly,&#8221; said Darina Oumanski, co-founder and COO at Slice.<\/p>\n<p>The points are based on advertisements that the user will see periodically in the browser as they surf the web. Web surfers can then cash out their points in the form of bitcoin by linking their extension to ZEBEDEE\u2019s app. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/slice_you-browse-we-pay.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<p>Furthermore, since Slice built the integration using ZEBEDEE\u2019s already existing infrastructure, any payments linked to an account with the gaming company will be near-instant with no fees.
