(Nasdaq: ABTC), a <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/news\/trump-family-backed-american-bitcoin-to-start-trading-on-nasdaq-today\">Trump family\u2013backed mining platform<\/a>, has expanded its Bitcoin holdings to 3,865 bitcoin, adding 1,414 bitcoin since September through a combination of mining production and secondary market purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Miami-based firm, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/american-bitcoin-acquires-1-414-bitcoin-and-increases-strategic-reserve-to-3-865-bitcoin-302594818.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">describes itself<\/a> as \u201cAmerica\u2019s Bitcoin infrastructure backbone,\u201d said the latest accumulation includes coins held in custody and those pledged for miner purchases under its ongoing procurement deal with Bitmain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The update continues a rapid expansion trajectory that began earlier this year when Hut 8 spun out its U.S. mining arm as a separate, publicly traded entity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/tags\/american-bitcoin\">American Bitcoin<\/a> initially held around 500 BTC at the time of the carve-out, then purchased another 1,726 BTC between July and August for approximately $205 million.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those holdings were pledged to <a href=\"https:\/\/theminermag.com\/news\/2025-10-27\/american-bitcoin-btc-acquisition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitmain as collateral<\/a> for a $314 million order of 16,299 Antminer U3S21EXPH units \u2014 nearly the full 15 EH\/s option under the companies\u2019 strategic supply agreement.
