Over the ensuing 5 weeks, community developers and programmers have been testing and debugging the network in order to reach all the goals&nbsp;set out in Factom\u2019s Milestone 1.<\/p>\n<p>Today in a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.factom.org\/post\/127157572974\/technical-update-release-candidate-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post<\/a>, Factom has announced the launch of the Release Candidate 2 (RC2) version of the Factom Beta. Again, it is asking for developer input as it works toward its next&nbsp;milestone: Factom Genesis.<\/p>\n<p>According to Factom\u2019s post, RC2 includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Better Factom block syncing &amp; downloading<\/li>\n<li>Tested for high numbers of entries<\/li>\n<li>Improved server to client messaging and error handling<\/li>\n<li>Some limited code refactoring and reorganization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.factom.org\/post\/121105395224\/factom-core-developer-update-june-9th-2015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milestone 1<\/a>&nbsp;is achieved, funding from the software sale will be released.
