In a <a href=\"https:\/\/bitmarket.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closure message<\/a> that was posted on its website, the operators blame loss of liquidity as the chief reason for the shutdown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s still unclear how much of BitMarket\u2019s users\u2019 funds are trapped in the firm\u2019s wallets. In the notice posted on its website, the exchange said it would contact users about \u201cfurther steps,\u201d potentially alluding to the reimbursement of funds. The inability to immediately carry out reimbursement could give credence to speculation that an unreported hack instigated the shutdown.<\/p>\n<p>BitMarket\u2019s closure comes a few weeks after Bitsane, a separate crypto exchange based in Dublin, mysteriously disappeared, along with millions of dollars of users\u2019 funds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A<em> Forbes<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/hanktucker\/2019\/06\/27\/crypto-exchange-and-xrp-refuge-bitsane-vanishes-scamming-as-many-as-246000-users\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> on Bitsane\u2019s strange exit claims that the exchange had begun to falter as far back as May, although the issues were supposedly due to technical problems.
