I\u2019m hiring engineers and designers to build the future of Web3 payments: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/A40QPCw3XG\">https:\/\/t.co\/A40QPCw3XG<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ygYTrA125T\">pic.twitter.com\/ygYTrA125T<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Guillaume Poncin (@gponcin) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gponcin\/status\/1447948308907913218?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">October 12, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hear a growing need from developers and users in that space for better building blocks to accept payments, move funds, exchange between fiat and crypto,\u201d the job listing states. \u201cBy focusing on these problems and needs, we aim to build faster, more trustworthy, and higher quality crypto-enabled experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stripe is a giant in the payments game and millions all around the world already use the platform \u2014 this could be another gateway to Bitcoin, increasing mass adoption. The listing then went on to say: \u201cMany businesses and users already rely on and trust in Stripe. This gives us a massive opportunity to be at the forefront of a new wave of innovation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Stripe originally <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinmagazine.com\/technical\/stripe-to-accept-bitcoin-will-others-follow-1396041344\">started accepting bitcoin<\/a> back in 2014 but was later halted in 2018 due to transaction confirmation times and fees on the main chain. Since then we\u2019ve seen the Lightning Network scale up and make Bitcoin viable as a means of exchange.
