I wandered lonely as an investor<\/p>\n

That floated around the mining sector<\/p>\n

First came Hut 8, Riot, Argo and Hive<\/p>\n

Barely struggling to remain alive<\/p>\n

Waiting for them to have bloomed<\/p>\n

2021 was the year they mooned<\/p>\n

\n

Along came Marathon, DMG and Bitfarms<\/p>\n

These new names had their charms<\/p>\n

But Marathon and DMG wanted to block transactions<\/p>\n

Only to feel the wrath of the user reactions<\/p>\n

The stream of names seemed almost everlasting<\/p>\n

Bit Digital, BIT Mining, Digihost, CleanSpark, Mawson, Cathedra and Cipher Mining<\/p>\n

\n

Then there was the China ban<\/p>\n

Causing a dash into America, Russia and Kazakhstan<\/p>\n

Only a few would have lingered on<\/p>\n

They had to remain hidden or they were gone<\/p>\n

Bitmain, MicroBT and Canaan seem mostly fine<\/p>\n

But in the future they could be on the line<\/p>\n

\n

Toward the end of the year there was a wave of new big names<\/p>\n

Core Scientific, Stronghold and Greenidge with ambitious aims<\/p>\n

There is more to come in this vein<\/p>\n

With private capital desperate to gain<\/p>\n

Suddenly many choices available now<\/p>\n

Leaving outsiders wondering how<\/p>\n

\n

I’m not so lonely anymore<\/p>\n

Clamor and crowds at the proverbial door<\/p>\n

2021 was a sensational year<\/p>\n

And now we sit back for some Christmas cheer<\/p>\n

As for what we expect for 2022<\/p>\n

Wider dispersion of returns and positive skew<\/p>\n

\n
